Soccer Recap: New Hanover Falls Short Against Ranked Laney

New Hanover faced Laney in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 2-1. It was the first time this season that New Hanover let down their fans at home.

New Hanover's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Laney, their win bumped their record up to 13-2-1.
