Basketball Recap: North Summit Braves vs. San Juan Broncos

Make it 12 blowout wins for the North Summit Braves this season. They breezed by San Juan on the road to the tune of 61-28 on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for North Summit as they're now sitting on four straight.

North Summit got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chezlie Langston out in front who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Langston is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 11 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Hayzlyn Murdock, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds.

North Summit pushed their record up to 19-2 with that victory, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for San Juan, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

North Summit will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. North Sevier will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Braves are ranked 15th). As for San Juan, they and the Red Devils will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
