Basketball Recap: Northview Academy Comes Up Short

Northview Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 71-61 to the Anderson County Mavericks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, with their most recent loss being a 85-63 defeat two weeks ago.

Northview Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Anderson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Northview Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Anderson County, they will square off against Fulton on Tuesday. Fulton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Anderson County likes a good challenge.
