Hampden is 7-1 against Gardiner since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Hampden Broncos will challenge the Gardiner Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Gardiner will be up against a hot Hampden team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Hampden beat Oceanside on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 62-52.

Meanwhile, Gardiner hadn't done well against Cony recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Gardiner had just enough and edged Cony out 60-57.

Hampden's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Gardiner, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9.

Hampden beat Gardiner 51-44 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hampden since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
