Soccer Recap: Forest Gets the Win

Forest won the last time they faced West Port and things went their way on Friday too. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Forest Wildcats who were credited with the victory. The Forest Wildcats got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the West Port Wolf Pack's three. Jack Belcher had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Wildcats.

Forest is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for West Port, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4-2.

Forest will square off against The Villages Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forest is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for West Port, they will face off against East Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
