Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Adam Fox and Ethan Brigger Lead Francis Parker to Victory

Francis Parker barely beat University City the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Francis Parker blew past University City 3-0 on Friday. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Centurions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-19.

Leading Francis Parker to victory were Ethan Brigger and Adam Fox. Brigger had 15 digs, while Fox had 13 assists. Those 15 digs gave Brigger a new career-high. Luca Munafo also deserves some recognition as he had his first dig of the season.

Francis Parker's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for University City, they moved to 11-2 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Francis Parker didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Bishop's on the 21st. As for University City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against High Tech SD at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be University City's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
