Broomfield has gone a perfect 4-0 against Silver Creek recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Raptors at 4:00 p.m. Silver Creek took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Broomfield, who comes in off a win.
Broomfield is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Monarch with a sharp 18-3 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Ethan Zufall looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Caden Williamson, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Talan Hutchings also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.
Broomfield kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Monarch only managed three hits.
Meanwhile, Silver Creek unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 14-7 to Legacy. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Raptors have suffered since April 24, 2024.
Jake Jensen and Connor Lopez did some serious damage despite the final result: Jensen scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Lopez scored two runs while going 1-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathen Canfield, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Broomfield is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Silver Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
Tuesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Broomfield hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .342. However, it's not like Silver Creek struggles in that department as they've averaged .320. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Broomfield beat Silver Creek 13-8 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Raptors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
