Basketball Game Preview: Peachtree Ridge Lions vs. Brookwood Broncos

The Peachtree Ridge Lions just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Brookwood Broncos at 5:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Wednesday.

Peachtree Ridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Berkmar to the tune of 59-18 on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lions considering their 19-point performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Brookwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past Meadowcreek, posting a 63-28 win. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 461st), the result on Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brookwood's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-10. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for Peachtree Ridge, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-18.
