Columbia came tearing into Wednesday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their match with ease, bagging a 69-41 win over the Oberlin The Phoenix . The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 25 points or more this season.

Columbia got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Natalie Miller out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten steals. Miller has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn Miller, who went 6 of 15 on her way to 11 points in addition to seven assists and three steals.

Columbia smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 13 consecutive games.

Columbia has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Oberlin, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia will welcome Fairview at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Columbia is on a four-game streak of home wins, Fairview a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Oberlin, they will host Vermilion at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Oberlin is facing Vermilion at the right time seeing as Vermilion is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
