Softball Recap: Chilton County Takes a Loss

Chilton County suffered their closest loss since April 22nd on Thursday. They fell just short of the Helena Huskies by a score of 3-1. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Chilton County's defeat dropped their record down to 36-11-2. As for Helena, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-15-2 record this season.

Chilton County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Helena, they will face off against Rehobeth at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Rebels will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight.
