Evadale extended their winning streak to 16 games thanks to a huge performance from Talon Bennett. The Evadale Rebels enjoyed a cozy 65-50 victory over the Grapeland Sandies on Friday thanks in part to Bennett, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games he's played.

Warren Brewer was another key player, putting up 13 points. What's more, he also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in November of 2024.

Evadale's win bumped their record up to 29-7. As for Grapeland, their loss dropped their record down to 21-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Evadale will face off against Bremond at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evadale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65 points per game this season. As for Grapeland, they will take on LaPoynor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. LaPoynor will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Grapeland surely won't give up without a fight.
