He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off nine hits (and only one walk). Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Manteca posted their closest victory since March 7th on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Oakdale 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Buffaloes.
Jimmy Burns looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
At the plate, Nate Slikker was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
Central Catholic's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Manteca, their record is now 16-4.
Everything went Central Catholic's way against Manteca in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Central Catholic made off with an 8-2 victory. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Buffaloes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
