Bloomfield comes up short despite Andrew Florez's dominant performance

The Bloomfield Bobcats were the 56-44 winner over the Piedra Vista Panthers when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Bloomfield took a 41-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Piedra Vista on Saturday. Bloomfield has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Bloomfield lost, one person who can't be blamed is Andrew Florez. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds.
Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Piedra Vista, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomfield will take on Artesia at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Piedra Vista, they will be playing at home against Kirtland Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
