St. James had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Loris Lions a 10-0 shutout. The Sharks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

St. James' win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Loris, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10-1 record this season.

St. James will venture away from home to take on North Myrtle Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Loris, they will welcome Waccamaw at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
