Baseball Game Preview: Marshall Barristers vs. Wilson Mules

For the second straight game, Marshall will face off against Wilson. The Barristers will be playing at home against the Mules at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marshall's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Wilson's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

While Marshall's win against Wilson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Barristers skirted past the Mules 5-3. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Nicholas Allan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
