Tulare Western is 9-1 against Mission Oak since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Mustangs will take on the Hawks at 4:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Tulare Western is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Tulare Union just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Tribe by a score of 3-2.

Tulare Western saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Corral, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Mission Oak started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Dinuba. They fell just short of the Emperors by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Hawks fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Emperors since on Friday.

Tulare Western's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10-1. As for Mission Oak, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9-1.

Tulare Western skirted past Mission Oak 5-4 in their previous meeting last Wednesday. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
