Blaine came into Wednesday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They won by a set and slipped past the Sedro-Woolley Cubs 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Borderites have posted against the Cubs since October 4, 2016.

Blaine's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Sedro-Woolley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Blaine is set to square off against their familiar foe Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Sedro-Woolley will take on rival Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
