Recap: San Juan Broncos vs. Summit Academy Bears
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the San Juan Broncos had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 51-0 victory over Summit Academy. The win was just business as usual for San Juan, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.
It was another big night for Parker Snyder, who rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 266 yards and three touchdowns while completing 94.1% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Zack Conway, who gained 109 total yards and two touchdowns.
San Juan pushed their record up to 12-0 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38 points. As for Summit Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
San Juan has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome South Summit at 4:00 p.m. on November 11th. South Summit knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five games -- so hopefully San Juan likes a good challenge. Summit Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
