Baseball Preview: Morse Shipbuilders vs. Lincoln Academy Eagles
Morse is 9-1 against Lincoln Academy since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Shipbuilders will be playing at home against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Lincoln Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Morse, who comes in off a win.
Morse took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Freeport, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Shipbuilders narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Falcons 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Shipbuilders have posted since May 22, 2024.
