Soccer Recap: Little River Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Little River Academy and Venus squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Little River Academy had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1.

Little River Academy's goal came courtesy of Harmony Aguallo, who's now up to six this season.

Little River Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7-1. As for Venus, their win bumped their record up to 14-6-2.

Little River Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Venus, they will challenge Benbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Benbrook will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Venus surely won't give up without a fight.
