Football Recap: Immanuel Piles Up the Points Against Kern Valley + How To Watch

Immanuel won the last time they faced Kern Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles claimed a resounding 46-7 win over the Broncs. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 432nd, while the Broncs are ranked 869th).

Immanuel got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chris Viscarra out in front who rushed for 177 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 15 carries. Vincent Rosander was another key passer, throwing for 119 yards and three TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Immanuel was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 300 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Immanuel has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 13 points this season. As for Kern Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Immanuel will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Orosi at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th. As for Kern Valley, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Mission College Prep at 7:00 p.m.
