Basketball Recap: Kindred's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to 14

Kindred put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 69-50 victory over the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Rebels. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked first in North Dakota, while the Rebels are ranked 88th in Minnesota), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kindred's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-0. As for Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-7.

Looking ahead, Kindred will venture away from home to take on Valley City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kindred knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matchups -- so hopefully Valley City likes a good challenge. As for Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, they will welcome East Grand Forks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in East Grand Forks' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 17 games.
