Gibraltar extended their winning streak to five on Thursday, bumping them up to 5-1. They put the hurt on the Southern Door Eagles with a sharp 16-1 victory. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 4-1 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

As for Southern Door, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered against Gibraltar since May 6, 2019.

For Southern Door's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Collin Everard, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Mac Hoffman also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Coincidentally, Gibraltar and Southern Door will both be playing Peshtigo the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Vikings will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
