Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Gets the Win

Notre Dame won the last time they faced Grace Baptist Academy, and Gaas Herman did his part to make sure it happened again. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish breezed by the Grace Baptist Academy Golden Eagles to the tune of 72-44 on Friday thanks in part to Herman, who posted 20 points. His evening made it 17 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Landon Goeller, who scored 14 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Notre Dame's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Grace Baptist Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame will challenge Collegedale Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grace Baptist Academy, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Grace Baptist Academy Golden Eagles duke it out with the Berean Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
