Volleyball Recap: East's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

East came into Tuesday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the South Titans on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

East easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20.

Elliot Cyrus was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs and three assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last four matches.

East's victory bumped their record up to 13-18. As for South, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-28-1.

East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Kapaun Mt. Carmel on the 14th.
