Volleyball Recap: Horace Mann UCLA Community Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Friday. Horace Mann UCLA Community lost 3-0 to Animo South Los Angeles. The loss continues a trend for Horace Mann UCLA Community in their meetings with Animo South Los Angeles: they've now lost four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-10, 25-20.

Horace Mann UCLA Community's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Animo South Los Angeles, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Horace Mann UCLA Community and New Designs University Park will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 3:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Animo South Los Angeles, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Middle College at 3:00 p.m. on the 28th.
