Basketball Game Preview: Seiling Wildcats vs. Hammon Warriors

Seiling is a perfect 10-0 against Hammon since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will square off against the Warriors at 6:30 p.m.

Seiling is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Cashion just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 54-48 to Cashion.

Meanwhile, Hammon had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They took down the Tigers 60-46.

Hammon's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Seiling, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

Seiling didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Hammon when the teams last played back in January of 2025, but they still walked away with a 42-38 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
