Soccer Recap: Pendleton Comes Up Short

Pendleton lost against McLoughlin back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buckaroos lost 3-0 to the Pioneers. While losing is never fun, Pendleton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 104th, while McLoughlin are ranked 29th).

Pendleton now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for McLoughlin, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Coming up, Pendleton will take on Ontario at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McLoughlin, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Riverside on the 18th.
