Basketball Recap: Dekalb County Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for DeKalb County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top against the Smith County Owls by a score of 50-43 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Owls back in December of 2024, they had to take a 61-60 defeat.

DeKalb County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for Smith County, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DeKalb County will head out to square off against White County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Smith County, they will face off against Monterey at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
