Basketball Game Preview: Sandusky Blue Streaks vs. Ashland Arrows

Sandusky and Ashland are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Sandusky Blue Streaks will be playing at home against the Ashland Arrows at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Sandusky's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Last Saturday, Sandusky was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 63-59 to Norwalk. The Blue Streaks have struggled against the Truckers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ashland). They walked away with a 47-34 victory over Mansfield Senior on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Arrows.

Ashland's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Sandusky, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Sandusky came up short against Ashland when the teams last played back in January, falling 69-59. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Ashland's Camryn Cox, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 23 boards.
