Recap: South Holt Knights vs. Worth County Tigers
Sadly, the South Holt Knights are still looking for their first win of the season after 23 matchups. They had to suffer through a rough 57-29 loss at the hands of Worth County. South Holt was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-6.
Kynah Steele was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds for Worth County. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Steele has scored all season. Kristen Tracy was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 12 rebounds.
South Holt's defeat was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-23. As for Worth County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-18.
South Holt didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 36-12 loss vs. North Nodaway on the 9th. Worth County will be playing at home against East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Worth County surely won't give up without a fight.
