Softball Recap: Midway Raiders vs. Jordan-Matthews Jets
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Midway had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Jordan-Matthews Jets by a score of 8-3. The win was nothing new for Midway as they're now sitting on seven straight.
McKenzie Williams was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, a triple, and a run. Kiley Ives was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Midway's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. As for Jordan-Matthews, their loss dropped their record down to 20-5.
As of now, neither Midway nor Jordan-Matthews have any future games scheduled.
