Preview: Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots vs. Wilson Christian Academy Chargers
The Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots will stay at home for another game and welcome the Wilson Christian Academy Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Arendell Parrott Academy came up short against Pungo Christian Academy and fell 57-48. While losing is never fun, Arendell Parrott Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while Pungo Christian Academy is ranked 111th).
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Chase Jones, who scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Fletcher Jones, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Wilson Christian Academy was beaten by Wayne Christian 84-43 on Tuesday. Wilson Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-18.
Arendell Parrott Academy now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Wilson Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
