Basketball Game Preview: Northeast Jones Tigers vs. George County Rebels

The Northeast Jones Tigers will challenge the George County Rebels at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Northeast Jones is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against South Jones on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Tigers lost 60-34 to the Braves. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Braves recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, George County's game on Thursday was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Greene County by a score of 53-51.

Northeast Jones now has a losing record of 1-2. As for George County, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
