Volleyball Recap: Trinity Oaks Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Trinity Oaks Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the South Beloit Sobos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Trinity Oaks Christian Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17.

Madison Wager paced Trinity Oaks Christian Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Wager got some help from Aubrey Hansen and her 12 assists. Pryce Ritchie and Caroline Raeside kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Trinity Oaks Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for South Beloit, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-4.

Coming up, Trinity Oaks Christian Academy will face off against Cristo Rey St. Martin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Beloit, they will welcome Marengo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
