Recap: Oakwood Panthers vs. Milford Bulldogs
The Oakwood Panthers lost against the Milford Bulldogs back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Oakwood fell 62-53 to Milford. Oakwood has not had much luck with Milford recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nick Strickland, who scored 15 points. Jackson Ballard was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Oakwood has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Milford, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Bynum the next time they take the court. Milford will head out to face Bynum at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Oakwood will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
