Volleyball Recap: Westbury Takes a Loss

If Westbury was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Yates last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Huskies lost 3-0 to the Spring Woods Tigers on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12, 25-14.

Westbury's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Spring Woods, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Westbury is taking a road trip to take on Austin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spring Woods, they will be taking part in a tournament against King at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
