Baseball Recap: Green Run Comes Up Short

Green Run was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 13-2 to the Kellam Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in March.

Green Run saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tameron Campbell, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. Zayne Pradia also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Green Run's record now sits at 0-13. As for Kellam, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Green Run will welcome Princess Anne at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kellam, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grafton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
