Basketball Recap: Scott City Takes a Loss

Scott City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 59-43 to the Chaffee Red Devils. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 436th, while the Red Devils are ranked 126th).

Scott City's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Chaffee, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

While Scott City had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
