The biggest upset of the week belonged to Lafayette, who took down 87th ranked Chillicothe, 62-28. Drew Cortez threw for 267 yards and 2 touchdowns during the win.

The Fighting Irish scaled the state rankings by moving to 84 from 120 this week, the biggest jump in Midland Empire. Lafayette was able to move up by besting the Hornets 62-28.

He was 14-20 with 1 interception.

Tyler Thrasher was the best wideout in the league this week as Bishop LeBlond fell to Smithville. Thrasher tallied 8 receptions for 116 yards. Eli Lilly helped Bishop LeBlond's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 31 yards.

5-foot-10 quarterback Cortez of robert kustel's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,590. He has also thrown 16 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Thrasher. The Bishop LeBlond star has 24 catches for 345 yards.

The Warriors are currently in third, while Maryville is in first.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Smithville takes on the Spoofhounds. Greg Smith's team has allowed 80 points this season, while Maryville has given up 43. The Warriors allowed 14 points last week as they bested the Eagles.

Matt Webb's team added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Benton, 36-6. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
