Man entered their tilt with Montcalm on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Montcalm Generals by a score of 49-41. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hillbillies also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2015.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Man to victory, but perhaps none more so than Moses Hicks, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 16 points and eight boards. Hicks is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played. Trey Ward was another key player, going 5 of 12 en route to 11 points and five boards.

Man smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in six consecutive matchups.

Man's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Montcalm, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Man has already played their next game (against Clay County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Montcalm will square off against River View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
