Volleyball Recap: Mercer Gets the Win

Mercer won the last time they faced Titusville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Rockets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-27, 25-20.

Ainsley Baldwin paced Mercer's offense, picking up 22 kills. Baldwin got some help from Farren Baldwin and her 18 assists. Farren also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sydney Ellis, each putting up four.

Mercer's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Titusville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mercer will take on Keystone at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Titusville, they will square off against Greenville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
