Basketball Recap: Augusta Takes a Loss

Augusta and Chester-Joplin-Inverness squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but Augusta had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 65-34 loss at the hands of the Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks. The Elks haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Chester-Joplin-Inverness, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

As of now, neither Augusta nor Chester-Joplin-Inverness have any future games scheduled.
