Dobson can  bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Monday. They put the hurt on the West Point Dragons with a sharp  12-1 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played  back in March of 2024.
 Brody Dobson made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits. Dobson was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Freddy Leal was a standout: he scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Noah Giron, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Dobson  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. They are 4-1 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Dobson's record is now 4-13. As for West Point, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10-1 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dobson will host Mesa  at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Mustangs are facing the Jackrabbits at the right time seeing as the Jackrabbits are stuck on  a  six-game losing streak. As for West Point, they will welcome Valley Vista  at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Monsoon have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.94  runs per game on average), something the Dragons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
