Basketball Recap: DSST: Montview Comes Up Short

DSST: Montview lost against Holy Family back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights took a blow against the Tigers, falling 65-23. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-13.

DSST: Montview's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Player #55, who posted two points.

Caleb Schott went supernova For Holy Family., going 7-for-12 to rack up 14 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Ward, who put up ten points and six boards.

DSST: Montview's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3. As for Holy Family, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

DSST: Montview will take on Aurora Central in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. Holy Family and DSST: Green Valley Ranch will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th.
