Falkner extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Elijah Mauney. The Falkner Eagles walked away with a 63-52 win over the Byers Lions on Thursday thanks in part to Mauney, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten boards. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 21 points.

Another player making a difference was Gavin Wooley, who posted six points along with ten rebounds and five assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Falkner now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Byers, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.

Falkner wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 58-45 victory against Pine Grove on the 7th. As for Byers, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lions duke it out with the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
