Volleyball Recap: McCutcheon Comes Up Short

McCutcheon lost against Hamilton Southeastern back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mavericks lost 3-0 to the Royals.

McCutcheon was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-22.

Leading Hamilton Southeastern to victory were Maye Mcconnell and Maggie Sliwa. Mcconnell had nine digs and three assists, while Sliwa had 12 assists.

McCutcheon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hamilton Southeastern, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, McCutcheon is taking a road trip to face off against Zionsville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hamilton Southeastern, they will host Carmel at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
