While Red Oak's win against Ferris wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Red Oak Hawks won by a run and slipped past the Ferris Yellowjackets 9-8. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Red Oak's win bumped their record up to 7-2-1. As for Ferris, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7-2.

Looking ahead, Red Oak will host Terrell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Terrell's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Ferris, they will take on Lamar in a tournament on Saturday.
