Baseball Recap: Edon Bombers vs. Continental Pirates
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hilltop, Edon was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Continental Pirates by a score of 10-5.
Max Radabaugh was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zayne Oberlin, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Edon's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Continental, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edon will take on Hicksville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Continental, they will head out on the road to face off against Columbus Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
