Football Game Preview: Dexter Dreadnaughts vs. Bedford Kicking Mules + How To Watch

The Dexter Dreadnaughts will head out on the road to challenge the Bedford Kicking Mules at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Dexter's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Dexter will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Chelsea, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Dreadnaughts took down the Bulldogs 42-28 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Dreadnaughts' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 89th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bedford). They enjoyed a cozy 28-10 victory over Skyline on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Kicking Mules with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Bedford and bumps their season record up to 3-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 17 points in those games. As for Dexter, their record is now 4-1.

Everything came up roses for Dexter against Bedford in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 59-13 win. Do the Dreadnaughts have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Kicking Mules turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
